Boguslaw Dawidow, Music Director and Conductor The history of this orchestra can be traced back to the years immediately following World War II. One of Poland’s leading orchestras, the Opole Philharmonic of Poland was founded in 1947 and became the resident orchestra of Opole. The philharmonic regularly performs at Polish cultural events and musical festivals, has hosted world-renowned piano, violin, and vocal soloists, and has toured throughout the world. Special Note - The theme for this concert is "A Night in Old Vienna" and a portion of the floor will be available for dancing. We invite you to dress "appropriately" if you wish!
